Well, some would say all styles of four letter words, and believe me it is tempting… approx. 3 weeks ago our Windstar, Ford Van was refusing to go in gear above 20mph until oops nope another stop light, lol, so 1800 dollar commitment later (800 cash) and a rental for 10days approx a 300 dollar adventure, we were on the road again. Great news is gas expense dropped to about half, ool lala. Then, the front breaks acted up, I forgot how much, But that and time…, last week trying to leave a job on Friday in Bradenton near the beach bridge the starter went, I had that morning been looking up the solenoid costs, as I could tell it was starting, weakly, and well solenoid is attached to the starter… 150 dollars for part, we do not have the tools, but a mechanic shop walking distance,…owner said they close soon and could not do it till Monday, then he asked where we live, and we live in Osprey, almost an hour ride south, and he said”Say no more!” suddenly the part was there and one of his employees was heading where the car was parked had the starter out and in and would not take a dime for the labor! Kindness generated and pouring out of that shop. Even a woman that was waiting a decision on her car had another vehicle she was offering to take us anywhere we needed. and Oh yea a few weeks ago before the transmission, we knew the fuel filter was clogging and so that expense, had to buy a special tool and could only get one side off. Jiggling it tho seemed to get it to work better, till this morning…. Pilates class to teach at 11, client at 1 all in Bradenton, and nope not just the filter the fuel pump not pumping so calls to all my work, and just now remember Ashley, I was gonna get her out to the beach to a job, Oh know… So here I am, I thank “God” Advance auto delivers parts, and free delivery, So 130 fuel pump, 40 dollars for a jack and stands so we can support the gas tank as the pump is in the tank, and that right there is a huge aargh!
